Origins of the concept
Making the production of household textiles less impacting for the environment, is a key focus for INDETEX. That is why we continuously do research on all kinds of ecological recycling processes and this has resulted in a new production process based on the recycling of PET bottles.
The process brings INDETEX into the realm of the circular economy with a first product development based on the cradle-to-cradle principle.
We want the production process to be as ecofriendly as possible which is why we do not use petroleum. That way we protect natural resources, we lower our ecological footprint and we still guarantee the highest quality.
What is REFabrics?
The REFabrics-collections are woven with polyester yarn made of recycled PET bottles.
